What is this tool
The Image Watermark Remover runs entirely in your browser. Paint over a watermark, logo, or unwanted text with the red brush; OpenCV inpainting fills the marked region using surrounding pixels. Files never leave your device — nothing is uploaded to WoDeTool. Best for small corner watermarks, screenshot timestamps, and local obstructions. Large or complex watermarks may show blur or artifacts — set expectations accordingly.
Use Cases
- 1.Screenshot cleanup: Remove corner platform logos or timestamps (only on images you may edit).
- 2.Design touch-ups: Erase temporary labels or arrows on mockups while keeping the main subject.
- 3.Scanned documents: Remove scanner software marks on edges (your own documents only).
- 4.Licensed assets: Clear small distractions before cropping or layout.
- 5.Pipeline workflow: Remove watermark → crop → compress; save the chain as a WoDeTool pipeline.
Why does this tool exist
Desktop watermark removal usually means Photoshop or heavy plugins. Many online tools require uploading originals to third-party servers — privacy and copyright risks plus inconsistent results. This tool uses OpenCV inpainting via WebAssembly in the browser: you mark exactly what to fix, and only that area is processed locally. It won't match AI inpainting on huge marks, but for small watermarks on simple backgrounds it delivers fast results with no install.
