WoDeTool ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have when using our website, online tools, and Chrome browser extension.

Most tools run entirely in your browser and do not transmit data to our servers. We may collect the following non-personal data:

Anonymous analytics (page views, tool usage) via Google Analytics to improve the platform.

Voluntary feedback submissions (tool name, description) stored for product improvement.

Minimal cookies for theme preference and language settings — no tracking cookies beyond analytics.

Chrome Extension

The WoDeTool Chrome extension helps you search tools, detect clipboard content on demand, and open wodetool.com with selected text. It follows these privacy principles:

Preferences (language, favorites, recent tools) are stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device — never on our servers.

Clipboard content is read only when you click the detect button in the extension popup. We do not monitor clipboard activity in the background.

When you use the context menu on selected text, the text is passed to wodetool.com via URL parameters to prefill the tool. No other page content is collected.

The extension does not include analytics, ads, or third-party tracking scripts.

How We Use Data

Collected data is used solely to operate and improve WoDeTool. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which may collect anonymized usage data per their own privacy policies. No tool input data is sent to these services.

Your Rights

You may disable analytics via browser settings or ad blockers. Since most processing happens locally, your tool input data is never stored on our servers. You may contact us to request deletion of any feedback data.
