Turn a vague idea into a ChatGPT prompt you can actually paste

“Write my weekly update” isn’t enough. Add role, task, constraints, and output shape. Build it with WoDeTool’s local template, or AI-rewrite the draft.

Where vague prompts fail

“Draft a plan” with no audience, length, or tone makes the model guess. When it guesses wrong, people blame the model. Often the prompt was empty.

Ask four things first: who is this for, what must be delivered, what is off-limits, and what shape should the answer take (outline, table, email).

A skeleton you can paste

Role, task, context, constraints, output format. That’s enough for most chat work.

In Prompt Optimizer, use Local template to fill fields with no upload — or AI rewrite with Clearer / More specific. For Midjourney-style lines, switch the target to Image prompt; don’t mix chat instructions into image prompts.

After you copy

Run it in ChatGPT or Claude. Still fluffy? Add anti-patterns to constraints (“no filler”, “three bullets then detail”) and optimize once more.

Don’t paste secrets or client PII into any online rewriter. Important conclusions still need a human pass.
