What you’re actually avoiding
ID photos, unreleased product shots, client originals. Once those hit a random cutout site, you don’t control cache, training use, or leaks. Upload tools are fast. They’re also a trust decision.
WoDeTool runs the model in your browser. First visit downloads the model; inference stays on-device. Our app servers don’t take your original for cutout. That’s the point if you need a usable PNG without handing the file to a stranger.
White-background ID crops
Start from a sharp, front-facing photo with even light. WeChat-compressed selfies and heavy beauty filters shred edges. Run AI background removal, export a transparent PNG, then drop it on pure white in any editor.
Hair, glasses glare, light clothes on light walls often look messy. Don’t grind a bad source. Reshoot with better light, or crop tighter before removal. Need a bigger export? Cut out first, then upscale — usually cleaner than upscaling a soft JPEG then cutting.
Product shots and file size
Typical path: remove background → white or scene fill → compress for the marketplace limit. On WoDeTool you can jump from cutout to compressor or multi-size export without bouncing across three upload sites.
Transparent PNGs run large. If the platform wants a white JPG, composite white first, then compress. If you need transparency, watch the preview — crushing PNG size too hard turns edges into stairs.
